The awarding of the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Rays to Mr. Ali Razi, the honorable former president of JICA Alumni Association

  On April 29, 2023 (Japan time), the Japanese government announced the awarding of the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Rays to Iranian citizen, Mr. Ali Razi (the honorable former president of JICA Alumni Association).

  JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency) conducts training courses in Japan for officials from various countries to learn Japanese knowledge and technology. From 1957 to the end of March 2021, 3,833 Iranian have participated in these training courses. From 2009 to 2021, Mr. Razi was the honorable president of the JICA Alumni Association. Both the Embassy and JICA would like to further deepen our friendship with the Iranian participants of these JICA training programs. 

  The Embassy of Japan in Iran wishes Mr. Razi greater success in promoting bilateral exchanges.
