Based on the request of the United Nations Security Council Resolution 1747 (2007), not to give new grant, financing and loan to the Iranian government except for humanitarian and development purposes, Japan has focused on two main fields. One is Technical Cooperation Project and the other is Grant Assistance for Grass-Roots Human Security Projects.
Japan attaches priority to the following five fields

Reduction of the Income Gap Between Urban and Rural Communities
Environmental Preservation
Water Resources Management
Disaster Prevention
